Sly At The Grammy Awards: It's On!

After the reports SlyAndTheFamilyStone.net mentioned a few days' ago that there was a chance Sly might play at the Grammys on Feb 8th, things have now become clearer and rumors would appear to have become solid fact.
If all the reports and quotes are true and accurate, it would appear that Sly Stone will PERFORM in public for the first time in almost 20 years next Wednesday. This assertion is based on three published statements:
1. Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, who is lined up to perform as part of the Sly And The Family Stone tribute at the Grammys (this much is confirmed) said the following in an interview when asked about the Grammys:
"Yes, I'm playing with Sly. I don't know exactly what we're doing. Nile Rogers is putting it together. I did "Want to Take You Higher," on the Sly tribute album that came out, what, four months ago?"
2. The press reports an unnamed "member of the original Family Stone" as stating the whole band is planning on being at the ceremony, though HE (so it's not Cynthia or Rose!) declined to say whether they'd perform.
3. Most importantly of all, Sly's official site, Phattadatta.com, has today published the unambiguous line, "Don't forget to see Sly's return on the Grammies!".
One way or another, we'll be glued to our TV sets on February 8th. We suggest you are too.
